Will it make me gag?
Start halfway down the tongue rather than right at the back, and move further back over a few days as you get used to it. Light pressure is enough.
How often should I use it?
Once a day, in the morning before you brush, is what most people do. Two passes is plenty — more is not better.
Can I not just use my toothbrush?
Bristles push the film around rather than lifting it. A flat, rounded edge pulls it off the surface in one movement. That is the whole difference.
How do I clean it?
Rinse it under the tap after use and dry it. It is stainless steel, so it also goes in the dishwasher.
How long does it last?
It is one piece of stainless steel with nothing to wear out or refill. Rinse it after use and it lasts for years.
Is it sharp?
No. The working edge is rounded — firm enough to lift the film, not sharp. If it ever feels uncomfortable, ease off the pressure.
Does it ship with the rinse?
